The Norman Foundation formalized its governance structure with three bodies: a Board of Directors, comprised of direct descendants of Aaron E. Norman that meet annually to set policy, oversee operations, and ratify grant decisions; a Grants Committee that meets 4-6 times per year to evaluate proposals and make grant decisions; and an Executive Committee that meets as needed and is authorized to make emergency grants of up to $10,000 (not exceeding $50,000) in any calendar year.
