• Each branch of the fourth generation of the Norman family (G4) was required to appoint one representative to the Grants Committee, deepening family engagement in funding decisions as the foundation grew.
• The foundation announced it would no longer fund social service programs unless they included a component that clearly promoted systemic change — reflecting the core conviction to address the root causes of social injustice.
