The youngest members of the family (G5) make their first grants.
G5 members participated in their own grantmaking session for the first time — reviewing a mini docket of organizations, discussing the issues, and allocating $2,000 to nonprofits of their choosing. From this point forward, G5 members would convene every other year at family meetings to review a docket and make grants, building their knowledge about the foundation and social justice philanthropy.
